The Macroeconomic Analysis and Tax Policy Division

The main functions of the The Macroeconomic Analysis and Tax Policy Division of the Parliamentary Budget Office are as follow:

Periodic review of the main trends of the macroeconomic environment;
Assessment of the official macroeconomic forecasts that constitute the basis for the preparation of the annual budget, as well as preparation of independent macroeconomic forecasts for the short and medium term;
Preparation of research publications on specific aspects of the macroeconomic policy.
